A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available within a K-12 school setting located in Sacramento, CA. This contract role lasts for the current school year and offers the chance to work closely with children experiencing speech and language challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Provide therapy sessions focused on improving speech and language skills
- Track and document student progress with accuracy and detail
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated care
- Engage and educate families to support ongoing therapy success
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations is highly desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Additional Requirements:
- Active license approved by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology in California
- Must possess or obtain a Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
