A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought to provide specialized communication support at an elementary school located in Saint Paul, MN. This contract position spans the current school year (CSY) and involves working directly with young learners to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for elementary-age students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and reports in compliance with educational and legal standards.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to developing inclusive strategies to enhance student learning.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience working in school settings, preferably at the elementary level.
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language development milestones and disorders.
  • Ability to engage young children and deliver effective interventions.
  • Excellent communication skills and teamwork mindset.
  • Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and school healthcare policies.
