A contracted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at an elementary school setting in Saint Paul, MN, for the current school year (CSY). This role focuses on providing specialized speech and language support to elementary-aged students, working closely with educators and families to enhance communication skills and ensure academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress.
  • Maintain detailed records of student evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress reports.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience working in an elementary school environment.
  • Strong understanding of pediatric speech and language development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Knowledge of current speech-language therapy techniques and educational regulations.
