A school district in Salinas, CA is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2025-2026 school year. This contract position is based at a single elementary school, primarily serving students in Transitional Kindergarten through 2nd grade. The role involves working in-person with a diverse caseload, including Speech-Only students, as well as those in Resource Specialist Program (RSP) and Special Day Class (SDC) settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language evaluation, therapy, and support services to elementary students.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
  • Participate in team meetings and support student intervention plans.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification or license.
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students, particularly TK-2nd grade.
  • Familiarity with various speech therapy techniques tailored to diverse student needs.
  • Ability to manage caseloads including Speech-Only, RSP, and SDC students.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
