A K-12 school in Salisbury, NC is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their educational team for the current school year on a contract basis. This opportunity is ideal for professionals holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) who are experienced in providing comprehensive speech and language services within school settings.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments for students K-12 to identify communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
  • Document and maintain accurate treatment records, reports, and progress notes
  • Provide consultation and training to staff on speech-language development and strategies
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss student progress and modify interventions as necessary

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Experience working with the K-12 student population in a school environment
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and evidence-based intervention techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage students, families, and team members
  • Ability to adapt to various educational and cultural settings
