A K-12 school in Hayward, CA is seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join their dynamic team for the upcoming school year. This contract position offers the opportunity to work full-time or part-time, focusing on improving students' communication skills and addressing various speech and language disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
- Provide direct therapy for disorders such as speech sound disorders, language delays, and fluency issues.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create supportive strategies within the classroom.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current state licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- ASHA certification.
- Experience working with children in educational or clinical settings is preferred.
