Apply NowA contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services at a high school in San Francisco, CA, throughout the current school year (CSY). This role involves delivering comprehensive speech and language evaluations, developing tailored treatment plans, and implementing targeted therapy to support students’ communication needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations for students with speech and language disorders
- Design and execute individualized treatment plans based on assessment data
- Provide therapy sessions to help meet specific speech and language goals
- Regularly monitor and document each student’s progress
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team including educators and other healthcare professionals
- Engage families to support and enhance the therapy process
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience with pediatric or school-aged populations is highly desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Active license approved by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology as required
