A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist position is available in San Francisco, CA, working with elementary students in a supportive and collaborative educational environment. This part-time, onsite contract role involves providing speech and language services to a caseload of elementary students with mild to moderate needs. The schedule offers flexibility, with two days per week at a single school site, requiring no travel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
  • Deliver direct and indirect therapy services to support student communication goals
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and support staff to foster student progress
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and progress notes
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active California Speech-Language Pathology License (CCC or CFY accepted)
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Prior school-based experience preferred, though new graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills suitable for a team-oriented setting

Location: San Francisco, CA
Duration: Current school year contract with a potential renewal
Schedule: 2 days per week with flexible scheduling
