A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) at an elementary school located in San Jose, CA. This role is perfect for qualified candidates holding relevant certifications and passionate about supporting students’ communication needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or Certificate of Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY)
- Experience or certification in school-based speech-language pathology preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development in children
- Ability to conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessments and therapy for elementary school students
- Develop and implement individualized educational programs in collaboration with teachers and parents
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participate in team meetings and support school initiatives related to communication disorders
