Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current state licensure, or eligibility to obtain licensure, in California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) candidates are also encouraged
- Experience with pediatric or school-aged populations is desirable
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with colleagues
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive evaluations for students with speech and language disorders
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Provide direct therapy sessions focusing on evidence-based speech and language interventions
- Monitor and document progress rigorously, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and practices
- Partner effectively with educators, healthcare professionals, and families for coordinated and holistic care
- Actively engage and educate families to foster consistent support and progress outside of therapy sessions
