In a dynamic K-12 educational environment in Irvine, CA, professionals will provide essential speech and language services to students. This role focuses on addressing the needs of children with communication disorders through assessment, intervention, and collaboration with educational staff and families.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Deliver targeted therapy sessions to meet students' speech and language goals
- Track and document progress meticulously for each student
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive and coordinated care
- Engage families in the therapeutic process, fostering communication and understanding
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working with pediatric and school-aged populations is highly desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
