A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support students in a K-12 educational setting in San Miguel, CA. This contract position starts ASAP and continues through the end of the school year. The role offers an excellent opportunity to provide essential speech and language services within a supportive school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students across all grade levels K-12.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ specific needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to promote effective communication and learning.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Provide consultative support and training to staff and families regarding communication strategies and interventions.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech Language Pathology license (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CF) status.
- Experience working in school settings as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Strong knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders commonly seen in school-aged children.
- Ability to work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
