Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Hold a CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or CFY (Clinical Fellow Year) status
- Experience in school settings, particularly with elementary and middle school populations
- Knowledge of communication disorders and effective intervention strategies
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Location: Oakland, CA
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
- Provide direct therapy services to a caseload of 50 elementary and 15 middle school students
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to facilitate students’ communication goals
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy as needed
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
