  • Current New Mexico state license (NMRLD) and NMPED certification, with NMPED in pending status acceptable.
  • CCC-SLP certification preferred.
  • Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology, particularly in school settings.
  • Familiarity with pre-kindergarten age groups and their specific communication challenges.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work effectively within a school team.

Location: Los Alamos, NM

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' speech and language needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and parents.
  • Provide direct therapy services to a manageable pre-k caseload.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided and student progress.
