A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a K-12 school located in Schuyler, NE. This contract role is set for the 2023-2024 school year with a start date as soon as possible until May 22. This onsite opportunity allows you to make a meaningful impact on a diverse student population across all grade levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of approximately 65 to 75 students, providing individualized speech and language assessments and therapy
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each student’s communication needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain detailed documentation and comply with all regulatory and school district requirements
  • Participate in meetings and professional development opportunities as needed

Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology license appropriate for practicing in Nebraska
  • Experience working within K-12 school settings preferred
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to foster collaborative relationships
  • Ability to manage a heavy caseload efficiently while prioritizing student outcomes
