A licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support a K-12 school in Schuyler, NE, for the upcoming school year. This contract position runs from August 11 through May 22 and involves working onsite for 40 hours per week. The caseload typically ranges from 65 to 75 students, providing comprehensive speech and language services to meet diverse needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student progress
- Maintain detailed records and documentation in accordance with school policies
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and compliance activities as required
Qualifications:
- Valid state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with children in a school setting preferred
