Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or relevant certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
- Valid state license or certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Previous experience working in a school setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Proficient in assessment and treatment of speech and language disorders.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual students.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students’ goals.
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation as required by the school.
- Participate in IEP meetings and advocate for students’ needs.
