A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the current school year (CSY) within a K-12 educational setting located in Seaside, CA. This role involves providing comprehensive speech and language services to elementary-aged students across two school sites. The contract begins ASAP and continues through June 11, 2025, offering a consistent work schedule of 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 55 elementary students.
  • Assess, diagnose, and design individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ specific communication needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress reports.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of communication strategies across educational settings.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), preferably holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
  • Experience working in school environments, particularly with K-12 populations.
  • Strong skills in evaluating and treating speech and language disorders in elementary-age children.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with students, families, and school personnel.
  • Ability to manage a caseload across multiple school sites efficiently.
