  • Valid state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Experience working in school settings, particularly with high school students
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educational staff and families
  • Knowledge of IEPs and related documentation processes

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to determine students’ speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Monitor and document student progress through regular evaluations
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student goals
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students
  • Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate educational records
  • Stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology
