A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students in a dynamic school environment in Seattle, WA. This contract position will cover a leave, providing essential speech-language services to children across a variety of grade levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders within the school setting
  • Develop individualized treatment plans that align with educational goals and student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Document and monitor student performance and adjust therapy strategies accordingly
  • Provide support and resources to families to enhance communication skills outside of therapy sessions

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Completion of CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) preferred for Speech-Language Pathologists entering the field
  • Experience working in school settings with pediatric populations
  • Valid state licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA is highly desirable
  • Strong skills in pediatric speech and language therapy, with the ability to engage children across diverse age groups
