A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a middle school in Bradenton, FL, starting ASAP through May 29, 2026. This contract role supports approximately 60 students, including those in a self-contained Emotional and Behavioral Disorders (EBD) cluster program. The school facility was recently rebuilt and offers a modern, spacious office environment, with options for virtual consultation as well.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments and provide therapy to students ages typically served in middle school settings
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports

Qualifications:

  • Florida SLP license required; master’s degree level only
  • Candidates with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates will be considered
  • Experience working with school-age children, especially in behavioral/emotional programs, is a plus
  • No Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) will be accepted for this role
