Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active or pending California SLP license, with the ability to apply for one
- ASHA certification preferred, though Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in a school setting, particularly with Pre-K to 8th grade, is a plus
- Strong skills in conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and implementing treatment plans
Location:
- Bakersfield, CA, serving a diverse middle school population
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments to students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services as outlined in IEPs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to promote effective communication strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and treatment outcomes
