Speech-Language Pathologist in Shawnee, OK

A School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to support elementary students in the Oklahoma City area. This role involves providing direct, onsite speech therapy services without the assistance of Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), making it ideal for a dedicated professional ready to manage and advance student evaluations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive speech therapy to an elementary caseload of 30-40 students.
• Conduct assessments and catch up on pending speech evaluations to ensure timely intervention.
• Collaborate with another SLP servicing 1 to 2 elementary schools to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
• Adapt therapy approaches to meet varied student needs within an educational setting.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid SLP certification with eligibility to work in school settings.
• Previous experience working as a school-based SLP, particularly with elementary-aged children, is preferred.
• Open to interviewing a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidate eager to develop skills in a school environment.
• Ability to work full or part-time with flexible scheduling to meet program demands.
