An opportunity is available for a dedicated professional to provide essential speech therapy in an educational setting. This position is focused in a high school environment, where the need for targeted communication support is crucial for student success.
Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP).
- Experience working with high school-aged students.
- Strong assessment and testing skills.
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience managing diverse caseloads is preferred.
Location:
- Concordia, MO
Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings and assessments to evaluate students’ speech and language needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students on a caseload, focusing on their individual goals.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create and modify IEPs as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and interventions.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss and support student needs.
- Supervise and support students during therapy sessions to foster a positive learning environment.
