A Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC or CFY credentials is sought for an onsite opportunity at an elementary school in Southport, NC. This contract position covers the Extended School Year (ESY) and runs from ASAP through June 9, 2026. The schedule is 37.5 hours per week, with part-time options available to support work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to elementary school students with speech and language impairments.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with regulatory and school standards.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to optimize student communication development.
  • Serve a caseload typically ranging from 45 to 50 students ensuring effective intervention and progress monitoring.
  • Deliver services onsite, actively engaging with the school community.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology or currently completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in school or healthcare settings.
  • Familiarity with teletherapy service delivery is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to manage a high caseload while maintaining quality care.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Location:

  • Onsite services provided at an elementary school in Southport, NC (near Wilmington, NC).
