A specialized contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist to serve high school students in a unique educational setting designed for learners with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and other learning differences. This position supports a personalized, supportive environment aimed at fostering independence and skill development beyond traditional classroom settings.

Location: Ludlow, MA
Duration: August 27, 2026 – June 22, 2027 (estimated)
Hours per Week: 32.5
Setting: High school – Compass High Program, focusing on students with ASD and learning differences
Supervisory Role: Oversee an SLPA caseload

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language pathology services to high school students within a specialized autism support program
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate with educators, therapists, and family members to support student progress
  • Supervise and mentor an SLPA to support service delivery
  • Maintain compliance with state licensure and educational program requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Experience working in school settings, ideally serving students with ASD or learning differences
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized educational and therapeutic strategies
