This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity offers a rewarding role serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade in a dynamic school setting. With a focus on supporting students with autism, this contract position provides hands-on experience in diverse educational environments.
Located in Springfield, Ohio, the position involves working 7.5 hours per day, split between two sites: three days at a learning center in West Liberty and two days at another school location. The workweek follows the school calendar year (CSY) schedule, starting as soon as possible. Typical daily start time is around 7:30 AM, though this may vary slightly based on district needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language pathology services to students with autism across a wide age range (K-12).
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educators and families.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy goals accordingly.
- Maintain detailed documentation and comply with district and state guidelines.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to support students’ educational and communicative development.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
- Experience working with children on the autism spectrum.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to different school environments.
