Calling on Speech-Language Pathologists based in St. Louis, MO, and who want to work with high school students! Soliant has partnered with a moderately sized school district 30 minutes from downtown St. Louis, and is seeking a contract provider this school year.
Additional information about the District, and the building assignments, will be shared in a direct interview with school administrators, following a successful phone screening with Soliant representatives. The caseload is approximately 69 students, with 10 of those students being speech only.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communications Disorders
- Missouri Speech-Language Pathology License
As a school-based SLP, you will:
- Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs.
- Determine student eligibility for speech services, or dismissing students who do not need further speech support.
- Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders.
- Develop individualized education plans and present them to parents, school administrators, and others involved with student evaluations.
- Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns.
- Maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload.
- Provide reports of a student’s progress to parents.
- Organize student caseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school.
- Develop resource materials for use in speech and language development.
