A contract position is available for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist with experience in healthcare and educational settings. This role focuses on providing comprehensive support to students, addressing a range of speech and language needs within a K-12 school environment.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience in pediatric speech therapy, particularly in school settings
- Proficient in conducting assessments and developing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Familiarity with teletherapy practices is an asset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Location:
Woodbridge, VA
Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to identify students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) tailored to each student
- Provide direct therapy services and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students’ goals
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of therapy sessions and outcomes
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
