Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Staunton, Illinois

This opportunity is designed for a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist with a commitment to supporting students’ communication development in an educational setting. Serving a PreK-8th grade population in a K-12 school environment, your expertise will directly impact approximately 20 students on your caseload, providing targeted speech and language interventions.

Key Qualifications:

• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Experience in healthcare and pediatric speech-language pathology preferred
• Eligibility for Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or licensed
• Familiarity with school-based speech therapy practices

Location and Schedule:

• Located in Staunton, Illinois
• Part-time position, 2 days per week
• Contract duration: New School Year (NSY)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for children PreK through 8th grade
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, and communication disorders
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other service providers to support student progress
• Maintain detailed documentation and compliance with school and state regulations
• Opportunity to coordinate and combine caseload with a neighboring district to create a full-time role if desired
