Serving a PreK-8th grade population in a K-12 school environment, your expertise will directly impact approximately 20 students on your caseload, providing targeted speech and language interventions.
Key Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience in healthcare and pediatric speech-language pathology preferred
- Eligibility for Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or licensed
- Familiarity with school-based speech therapy practices
Location and Schedule:
- Located in Staunton, Illinois
- Part-time position, 2 days per week
- Contract duration: New School Year (NSY)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for children PreK through 8th grade
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other service providers to support student progress
- Maintain detailed documentation and compliance with school and state regulations
- Opportunity to coordinate and combine caseload with a neighboring district to create a full-time role if desired
