A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the upcoming full school year within a K-12 educational setting in Sterling, AK. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide essential speech and language services, contributing to the developmental success of students across all grade levels. The position is a full-semester contract with potential for extension, and includes travel opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide individualized speech and language therapy to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to meet students’ specific communication needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of effective communication strategies within the school.

Qualifications:

  • Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP - CCC) or currently completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
  • Experience working in educational settings preferred.
  • Ability to travel as required for the role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and staff.
