A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the upcoming full school year within a K-12 educational setting in Sterling, AK. The position is a full-semester contract with potential for extension, and includes travel opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide individualized speech and language therapy to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to meet students’ specific communication needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of effective communication strategies within the school.
Qualifications:
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP - CCC) or currently completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Experience working in educational settings preferred.
- Ability to travel as required for the role.
