A dedicated professional is sought for a contract role providing speech-language pathology services in a K-12 educational setting for the 2025-2026 school year. This position focuses on supporting students with communication disorders, ensuring that each child receives the necessary guidance and intervention to succeed academically and socially.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
- Valid state licensure as a speech-language pathologist.
- Previous experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students.
- Strong assessment and intervention skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
Location:
- Dearborn, MI
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify students' speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student.
- Provide direct therapy services in accordance with IEPs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support students' overall development.
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of services provided and outcomes achieved.
