Apply NowA school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (CCC-SLP) is needed for the 2025-2026 school year. This contract position is based in Sterling Heights, MI, serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, voice, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and district policies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in Michigan
- Experience working in a K-12 educational setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations

Duration: Full academic school year (2025-2026)
