A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work in an elementary school setting in Sterling Heights, MI. This role supports students from pre-school through elementary levels, providing essential speech and language services to enhance communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for students.
- Develop and implement individual treatment plans.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student progress.
- Document and maintain accurate records of therapy sessions.
- Provide direct therapy to students requiring speech and language intervention.
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP certification (CCC preferred).
- Experience working in school settings, ideally with pre-school and elementary-aged children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work onsite full-time, 35 hours per week.
- No SLPA or SLP-CF candidates considered for this position.
