A full-time, in-person Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in a K-12 school setting located in Sterling Heights, MI. This contract position spans a full semester, starting ASAP through the end of the school year (EOSY). The role involves supporting an established SLP by assisting with their caseload, providing valuable therapy services to students across all grade levels.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering individualized speech and language therapy to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Collaborating closely with the school’s special education team and other professionals
- Documenting student progress and maintaining accurate records
- Supporting the primary SLP in managing and coordinating caseload activities
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working in a school-based setting with a diverse student population
- Strong communication and organizational skills
