A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide services to preschool and elementary school students in a K-12 school setting. This role focuses on delivering comprehensive speech and language therapy to support the communication development of young learners in a dynamic educational environment.

Location: Sterling Heights, MI
Duration: Complete School Year (CSY)
Setting: K-12 School, Preschool and Elementary levels

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments for preschool and elementary students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, and communication needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to monitor student progress and adjust therapy goals as needed.
  • Provide both in-person and potential teletherapy services to meet student needs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all school policies and state regulations related to speech-language pathology services.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid SLP Certification or License appropriate for school settings.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in educational or healthcare environments.
  • Ability to provide services to students with diverse speech and language disorders.
  • Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and delivering remote speech therapy services.
  • Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of and commitment to evidence-based practices in speech-language pathology.
