This position offers an opportunity to provide speech-language pathology services within a K-12 school setting in Sterling Heights, MI. The role is available on a full-time or part-time basis, with caseload options ranging from early intervention to elementary and middle school students. The contract begins ASAP and extends through the end of the school year.

Key responsibilities include assessing, planning, and delivering individualized speech-language therapy to students across various grade levels. Collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals to support student communication needs is essential. The position is well-suited for speech-language pathologists holding a Michigan SLP license, including Clinical Fellows (CFs) who are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid Michigan Speech-Language Pathology license
  • Experience working with middle school students preferred, but not mandatory
  • Clinical Fellows in their CFY are welcome applicants
  • Skilled in pediatric speech and language therapy within school settings

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments for students from early intervention through middle school
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Coordinate with teachers and staff to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development activities
