A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity is available working onsite in a school setting in Stuart, VA, providing services for a K-12 caseload. This contract position offers the chance to apply your expertise in speech-language pathology within an educational environment, supporting students’ communication development and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students from kindergarten through 12th grade
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to enhance student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and regulations
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide consultation as needed

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Experience working in school and pediatric healthcare settings
  • Familiarity with teletherapy and the ability to adapt services accordingly
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) preferred
  • Knowledge of current best practices for a K-12 caseload
  • Ability to work onsite full-time during the normal school year (NSY)
  • Flexibility to engage in vocational collaboration and adherence to billing requirements
