A speech-language pathologist (SLP) is needed for a contract position in Sugar Land, TX, supporting various schools within the district. This role requires experience working with students in grades 5 through 9, including both general and self-contained classroom settings. The assignment is to begin as soon as possible and will continue through May 22, 2026.

Assignment Details:
- Serve multiple schools: one middle school with approximately 50 students in 5th and 6th grades, one school with 25 self-contained 7th and 8th grade students, a 9th grade campus with 6 students, and a school with 4 students.
- Provide evaluation and therapy services tailored to a diverse student population, including those requiring more focused support.
- Collaborate with educators and specialists to support individualized education plans (IEPs).
- This position is a backfill opportunity due to the current SLP relocating.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Valid SLP certification for school settings
- Experience working in schools, particularly supporting middle and early high school students
- Strong ability to engage and work with students requiring different levels of intervention
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
