An opportunity is available for a skilled professional to provide speech-language pathology services in an engaging elementary school environment. This contract position is located in Renton, WA, and is ideal for individuals holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Washington State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- CCC-SLP certification
- Experience working with elementary school-aged children
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Familiarity with various speech and language disorders
Location:
- Renton, WA
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and diagnose speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement appropriate therapy plans tailored to students' needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students’ goals
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of services provided
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP discussions
