This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist role provides specialized services across multiple K-12 schools in Talladega, AL. Serving predominantly elementary students, with coverage also in a middle school setting, this position offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on diverse student populations. The role is structured as a contract for the current school year, with full-time hours and a manageable caseload.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to students in elementary and middle school settings
  • Provide pull-out services in dedicated speech rooms to optimize therapy effectiveness
  • Manage caseloads across 2-3 buildings, typically covering 2 elementary schools and 1 middle school
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate therapy goals within educational plans
  • Maintain detailed documentation and progress tracking in accordance with school policies

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Must hold a valid Alabama Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
  • Experience working with children in pediatric, school-based, or teletherapy settings preferred
  • Familiarity with speech-language evaluation, therapy techniques, and IEP development
  • Strong communication and organizational skills to manage multiple locations and caseloads
  • Credentials such as CCC-SLP or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are advantageous

Location:

  • Talladega, Alabama
  • Service across 2-3 buildings: primarily elementary schools with some middle school coverage
