A full-semester contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to support a K-12 district located in Tallassee, AL. This role requires a 37.5-hour workweek providing services across multiple campuses within the district.

The selected candidate will begin in January, with flexibility to start earlier if available. The current caseload consists of approximately 50 students, offering the opportunity to impact a diverse group of learners.

Key responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing individualized therapy plans, and delivering direct speech and language services. Experience with Head Start programs and early childhood intervention is highly valued to meet the needs of younger students.

Qualifications and desired experience:

  • Hold a valid SLP license and CCC credential
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a speech-language pathologist
  • Proven experience working with early childhood populations, including Head Start programs
  • Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 50 students
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to collaborate with educational staff and families
