A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) role is available for the current school year within a K-12 school setting located in Tallassee, AL. This contract position involves providing speech and language support across multiple school sites, enhancing student communication and educational outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to K-12 students across multiple schools.
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans to address student communication needs.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to integrate therapy goals within the educational environment.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and comply with school policies and reporting requirements.
- Participate in IEP meetings and support multidisciplinary teams in designing effective interventions.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid SLP certification/license appropriate for school settings.
- Experience working with K-12 students in multiple school environments.
- Strong knowledge of speech-language development and related disorders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week.
