A Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed for a K-12 contract position in Taos, NM. This role supports students across Alta Vista Elementary/Intermediate School and Questa Junior Senior High School, including services for three homebound students. The caseload includes approximately 20 students, with four focused solely on speech therapy, serving a population ranging in age from 3 to 19 years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to K-12 students in a school setting
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies
  • Deliver therapy to homebound students within the community as required

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in K-12 educational settings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with staff and families
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Familiarity with school-based speech therapy protocols and documentation

Position Details:

  • Location: Taos, New Mexico
  • Contract Duration: 2025-2026 school year (Aug 4, 2025 – May 22, 2026)
  • Weekly Hours: 16 hours per week
  • Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM (part-time)
  • Serving students ages 3 through 19 years across elementary, intermediate, and junior/senior high school levels
