Exciting opportunity for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in an elementary school setting in Taunton, MA. This contract position spans the full semester, from August 2025 to December 2025, allowing for a focused and impactful engagement with students facing communication disorders.
Location: Taunton, MA
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy to students with various communication disorders, including articulation, language, fluency, and voice.
- Conduct assessments and screenings to identify student needs and determine appropriate interventions.
- Develop tailored treatment plans based on assessment results and collaborate with educators and parents to establish achievable goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress in alignment with state and district regulations.
- Work alongside school staff, including teachers and special education teams, to foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Actively participate in IEP meetings to help formulate and adjust goals and objectives for students.
- Manage a diverse caseload, ensuring the timely delivery of therapy services.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Active Massachusetts SLP License.
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with elementary students.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
