A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-12 school setting located in Taylor, MI. This contract role will continue for the remainder of the school year and provides an excellent opportunity to support students’ communication development across the school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments for K-12 students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on pediatric speech and language disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and healthcare professionals to enhance student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and case notes in compliance with educational standards.
- Participate in meetings and provide ongoing consultation related to speech-language services.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Michigan SLP License.
- ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working as an SLP in school, healthcare, or pediatric settings.
- Knowledge of caseload management and individualized educational programs.
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) experience is preferred.
- Strong skills in pediatric speech-language pathology assessment and therapy.
