An exciting opportunity awaits for a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide valuable services in an elementary school setting in Atlanta, GA. Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, diagnose speech and language disorders, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Provide direct therapy services through in-person and teletherapy methods, ensuring that each student receives the support they require to succeed.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create a cohesive network for student growth and development.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and stay current with best practices in the field.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Georgia state license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in an elementary school setting.
- Proficient in using teletherapy platforms and tools to effectively engage students remotely.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate interactions with students, families, and school staff.
