A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to provide maternity leave coverage at an elementary school setting. This full-time position is scheduled to begin around February and is expected to continue through the end of the semester.
The caseload primarily involves elementary-aged students, along with a smaller number of middle and high school students. The role offers a largely virtual work setup, facilitated by a dedicated VOCO SLP station, which allows for effective remote therapy sessions while maintaining flexibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language pathology services to students across elementary, middle, and high school levels.
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized therapy plans, and deliver targeted interventions.
- Collaborate with educational staff to support student communication goals.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings.
- Ability to deliver services virtually using provided technology.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to manage a diverse caseload effectively.
