A rewarding opportunity is available for a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide valuable services in a K-12 charter school setting located in Burnsville, MN. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of students' speech and language skills.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
  • Utilize age-appropriate methods and tools to facilitate effective therapy sessions.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to promote students' communication goals.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a supportive educational environment.
  • Stay informed of the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state licensure and ASHA CCC-SLP certification.
  • Experience in a school setting preferred, with a focus on K-12 students.
  • Proficient in using teletherapy platforms and tools.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage effectively with students and families.
  • Flexibility to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs.
