Telehealth Speech Therapy in CT

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide specialized support to high school students within a K-12 educational setting located in Hartford, CT. This contract role spans the entire school year and offers a structured environment focused on delivering targeted speech and language services.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy to a caseload of 35 high school students, including 19 students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and multiple disabilities
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique communication needs
• Collaborate with paraeducator support staff to optimize therapy outcomes
• Document progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school policies
• Utilize both in-person and teletherapy modalities as appropriate to student needs

Qualifications and Experience:

• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
• Experience providing therapy in a school setting with K-12 populations
• Competence in delivering teletherapy services effectively
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload, including students with ASD and multiple disabilities
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with paraeducators and other educational professionals

Schedule and Location:

• Full-time role requiring a commitment of 37.5 hours per week
• Based in Hartford, CT within a K-12 school environment
• Contract duration aligns with the normal school calendar year
